The Cambridge Chop House sits in the heart of Cambridge, just 50 yards from King’s College Chapel and a similar distance from Cambridge Arts Theatre. A building packed with history and charm, The Cambridge Chop House is spread over 2 floors with atmospheric cellars and a large glass fronted corner location. With its quirky spaces and great views it is arguably the best spot  in Cambridge.

The food is from traditional British roots, is no nonsense and keenly presented. Specialising in interesting cuts & chops of meat it is a haven for the meat lover. All steaks are at least 28 day aged and sourced from within the UK.

Sunday roasts are a highlight. On a Sunday lunchtime a variety of roast meats such as roast pork belly, roast chicken and traditional roast beef with all the trimmings are available. With its stunning views of King’s College Chapel, a Sunday lunch at The Cambridge Chop House, is a quintessential British and Cambridge experience!

However great steaks are not the only option, with regularly changing fresh fish specials and hearty vegetarian food, there is enough choice to satisfy all tastes.

With a thorough and imaginative wine list, focused on the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France we can offer a range of great value wines to complement all our meals. If real ale is your thing, we serve local beer straight from the cask.

Sustainability

Supporting our community

In September 2018 we launched the Cambscuisine Community Fund (CCF). Across all of our restaurants we've been raising money to support vulnerable people in Cambridgeshire. For every bill over £30, in all of our restaurants, we've been adding a discretionary £1 added to it to support the Fund. We have raised over £185,000 for local charities some of whom we work with outside of this fund.
